Amsterdam and Utrecht are known for its rivalry and so it is with their hospitals. When the hospitals’ merging was announced, the creation of an internal campaign between employees was essential.
This campaign aims all workers to get to know each other, set their differences and team up to run a 47,7 km sponsor race. Money was given to patients from both hospitals.
‣The results: After, other ideas have been implemented resulting in a significantly team-building increased between both hospitals. As well, before and after the Sponsor run campaign, a satisfaction survey was sent to all employees. The second survey showed an increased atmosphere satisfaction, less stress and more collaboration.
